We have arrived!
Although we had a bit of a delay to start our trip we made our connection in Houston and arrived in Lima around 12:30am. We are getting ready to explore a bit this am. Then off to Piura this afternoon.

First Morning in Lima
We arrived on time last night after a long delay in KC. We only had 40 minutes in Houston to make our connection but fortunately we all got a good run in from the domestic to the international terminal. We will fly out to Piura this afternoon

Piura, Peru-Here we come!
Wearing my Peruvian baseball cap for clinic in anticipation of tomorrows departure! Gathering OrthoKs t-shirts to hand out to all the adorable children that I can't wait to meet! I talk with my hands anyway, so not too concerned about the language barrier.:) So excited for the adventure! Amy Vestal

Returning to Piura
We will be traveling back to Peru for another Medical Mission trip on Jan 3, 2013. Our entire family along with my nurse, Amy Vestal, and my PA, Amy Hecker will be going. We will keep you informed as we get prepared.
